Beschreibung

The Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz is a higher education institution for all those who would like to enter a profession in the field of fine arts and design. The attractive educational offer, distinguished academic teachers and well-equipped studios give students a guarantee of a successful career in an increasingly competitive labour market. The Academy’s six faculties offer 8 courses and various art and design majors, including nationwide unique programmes in fashion design, jewellery design as well as theatre, film and television techniques. For many years, the Academy has also encouraged student and staff mobility within the framework of the Erasmus Programme. We cooperate with over sixty institutions of higher education throughout Europe. Students can find accommodation in double and triple rooms in the conveniently located Student Hall of Residence. Convenient public transport infrastructure easily connecting the campus and the city centre allow for quick travelling around the city. The Student Council, elected once a year, is the co-organiser of various student exhibitions and parties. Every year, the authorities of each of the five faculties in cooperation with the Department of Promotion prepare numerous student exhibitions, workshops, competitions and lectures while the International Office organises exhibitions for the Erasmus+ Programme participants, language meetings and presentations of partner institutions.
