Founded in 1985, the University of Castilla-La Mancha is spread out over four main campuses within four provinces of the autonomous region of Castilla-La Mancha (Spain): Albacete, Ciudad Real, Cuenca and Toledo. At the UCLM, there is an intense cultural focus in all of the University campuses. The university continually holds exhibitions, concerts, lecture series, cinema club, and book readings and there are cultural classrooms located on the campuses in order to promote cultural activities and the par-ticipation of the general public. The University’s Faculty of Fine Arts is situated at the campus of Cuenca. With 57,000 inhabitants, Cuenca is a landmark in modern art, apart from being an emblematic city due to its architectural heritage. There are around 3,600 students on its campus.
